Santa Express Holiday Program

Greet Santa as he arrives in Edison Park via the Metra Train from the North Pole.  Santa and his elves will get off the train at the new Edison Park Metra Station and walk with the children through our business district to our community Christmas tree located at the corner of Northwest Highway and Oshkosh.  A tree blessing will be given by Pastor Norwood "Woody" Knutson of the Edison Park Lutheran Church and a welcome from Alderman Doherty and Chamber president, Mary O'Connor.  The Ebinger Children's Choir will perform.  Santa will then walk with the children across the street to the Edison Park Fieldhouse where Mrs. Claus will serve hot chocolate and cookies to those waiting to get a picture with Santa.  Free trolly rides available at the "Trolley Stop" outside the fieldhouse until 1:00 p.m.
