Oriole Park School Educational Foundation is proud to host Oriole Park’s inaugural Sunshine Run 5k, the neighborhood's premier event. Explore the unique family-friendly neighborhood on Chicago’s northwest side. Run by the local school, the gorgeous library, the much loved park and more. Kids dash and awards ceremony will follow the race. After that, it’s fun for the whole family! Get the kids’ faces painted, have a bite to eat, visit our hand-picked vendors and our local sponsors. This is our Chicago neighborhood at its finest. With several hundred participants spectators expected, the OPSEF's Sunshine Run promises to be a spectacular event showcasing the best of Oriole Park and benefitting none other than Oriole Park Elementary.
All runners will receive a race bag complete with a navy blue 50/50 cotton blend t-shirt and other goodies. Post-race activities include bounce houses, balloon twisting, live music, beer garden and more.
